Arcane Lamp range upgrade? #301

16 blocks really doesn't feel like much at all.

Vanilla torches have a range of roughly 14 blocks with falloff, so an increase is definitely needed.

Have you tried actually using an arcane lamp?
It will totally illuminate a frankly pretty huge area considering how cheap it is to make.

I made one and put it in the bottom of the main room in a Lich's Tower (Twilight Forest) and the area it lights up is tiny. Doesn't even touch rooms off the main one.

That seems more like a problem with the construction of the tower than with the lamp itself. Try placing the lamp as high as you can with it still able to spawn illuminated spots on the ground, and try widening the entryways to the other rooms to see if the lamp can place light spots inside.

Check out #249, it's been noted that lamps only seem to illuminate the room they are in now.
