Single Putty window can disappear -- window seems unrecoverable #120

Closed GoogleCodeExporter closed 9 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 9 years ago
What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Begin with any two "free-floating" SuperPuTTY windows
2. Drag one window on top of the other to activate (show) the placement guide
3. Choose Top, Bottom, Left, or Right from the placement guide. The two
windows will merge to one split-view window.
4. Drag the titlebar of either PuTTY connection away from all SuperPuTTY
windows.

What is the expected output?

Two free-floating windows

What do you see instead?

The window being dragged disappears. I don't know how to make it reappear.

What version of the product are you using?

1.2.0.8

On what operating system?

Windows 7 (64-bit)

Please provide any additional information below.

"Free-floating" windows refer to any window created by dragging a SuperPuTTY
tab away from the main frame window, creating a stand-alone window.

This is probably related to the bug in Issue 98. Although that bug has
different repro steps and involves choosing the "center" guide when merging two
windows.

It looks like the window is closed when it's dragged out of the floating
window.

Tried 2.6, issue still there so I rolled back to dockpanel 2.4 and it seems to
be fixed.
