- iRedMail-0.8.1 doesn't support Ubuntu 12.10, the latest release is Ubuntu
12.10 alpha3, which is not even a RC release.
- What do you mean "Debian unstable"? Is it Debian 7 (Wheezy)?

It is also neither in 12.04 (precise which is an LTS)
nor 11.10 (oneiric)

It is only available in hardy (10.04), lucid (10.10) and natty (11.04).
See also http://packages.ubuntu.com/search?keywords=postfix-policyd

Besides that it would depend on mysql which is incompatible with the postgresql
choice I made.
See for that: http://packages.ubuntu.com/natty/postfix-policyd

Any yes, I tested against what will become Debian 7
From looking at ftp://ftp.debian.org/debian/pool/main/p/postfix-policyd/
I can see that the last update to those packages was made almost 3 years ago
so it is likely that that the package didn't make it into Debian 6 anymore
either (but I didn't verify that yet).

iRedMail will install postfix-cluebringer on Ubuntu 11.10 and later releases.

I didn't receive similar report from other users, did you install iRedMail by
following our installation guide strictly?

You mean this one: http://www.iredmail.org/install_iredmail_on_ubuntu.html ?
Yes, I did.

This is on a freshly installed virtual server.

For Debian http://www.iredmail.org/install_iredmail_on_debian.html
the only change I made was to NOT include
deb http://http.us.debian.org/debian squeeze main
deb http://security.debian.org/ squeeze/updates main

As I wrote before this box as Debian installation is on unstable (sid). It will
later drop to testing.
