Please add PCM modulation for use for SIMULATOR, connected by the audio card. #709

Please add PCM modulation - PCM (Walkera, JR, Futaba, Sanwa, Airtronics).

This is used by all who use their radios connected by the sound card for use
with simulator by an audio cable.

For this purpose the PPM signal is jittery and with low res, and PCM (the
original implemented in the stock ROM) was perfect - no jitter, high res. Note
that there is no problem with the PPM signal used with real hardware.

SmartPropoPlus is the only way I know of to connect a controller via the
computer audio input and it supports PCM (Walkera, JR, Futaba, Sanwa,
Airtronics). http://www.smartpropoplus.com/dnn/

were you able to get er9 to work with a simple audio cable even in PPM mode? I
was not able to get its output recognized by smartpropoplus at all, even though
I could output the audio and physically hear the sound changing as I moved the
controls.

In PPM mode it is difficult to play a flight sim. The orginal PCM worked great
except the trim didnt work to get the throttle down below 5%. Using smartpropo
and Vjoy things worked great. I cannot seem to find PCM mode in er9x 816, I
hope it can be added!

The main problem to adding this is the FrSky version of er9x on the ATMEGA64
has very little space left in the flash memory for adding anything like this.
What hardware (processor) and version are you using?

I have the original Turnigy radio. With an audio cable and PPM it works, but
jittery. With the original implemented in the stock ROM PCM it was rock-solid.
So I ordered a USB dongle (emulator) and do not use audio cable anymore.
