Synthesized Speech Sounds Robotic at 8000 Hz Frequency #388

In my use case, I need the output of TTS in 8000 Hz, but the audio sounds completely robotic, whereas the same audio sounds good at 24k Hz. Is there any way to get better audio quality at 8k Hz?
