This PR addresses pathing issues with the source code to fix running on MacOS or Linux machines.

It also includes some enhancements:

Update .NET Framework to 8.0
Updated README to note required editing of APIVersionString
Updated Program.cs to pause after printing configuration to let users confirm the operation, given it is destructive
