[BUG] AKS Managed Prometheus - no self monitoring #4159

Describe the bug A clear and concise description of what the bug is. I cannot check health/state of managed prometheus, I want to check ie prometheus_tsdb_head_series to see how many series is in tsdb.

To Reproduce Steps to reproduce the behavior:

Try to execute query prometheus_tsdb_head_series in i.e. Prometheus query on azure monitoring workspace

Expected behavior Want to see all internal prometheus metrics

Could you elaborate on the use case, how do you plan to use the tsdb_head_series?

I'd use it to identify the metrics that have crazy cardinality to cut it down
