I have re-purposed the old PR to update the deployment instructions

We have called out that the environmentCode needs to be alpha numeric. It implies that special characters are not allowed. However, do we want to explicitly call out that the special characters are not allowed? It might be redundant but might help clarify any issues that users might otherwise run into. Thoughts?
