Request: Azure AVS Evaluators Guide #281

I am looking for an AVS Evaluation Guide for our engineers and customers, this would be great for customers since it would run them thru different configuration scenarios, they can learn & test on. Similar to the what VMware on AWS provides.

I would include both VPN and ER connectivity in the guide. as most smaller customers only have a VPN.

This is a great idea, we will put it on our backlog. Thank you!

Let me know once completed, I am looking to review this along with my engineers, also would like to present to our POC customers.

Any updates around a POC guide?

@jnordsving The information linked is very similar to the Azure VMware Solution deployment guide: https://vmc.techzone.vmware.com/resource/avs-planning-and-deployment-guide#core-concepts and the Microsoft product page guide: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/azure-vmware/tutorial-network-checklist

The product page also links to the Cloud Adoption Framework, which has several or more scenarios, including ER & VPN hybrid connectivity. So does the GitHub repo:

https://github.com/Azure/Enterprise-Scale-for-AVS/blob/main/BrownField/Networking/Concepts/Connectivity-Single-region/Connectivity-Options-SingleRegion.md https://github.com/Azure/Enterprise-Scale-for-AVS/tree/main/Network%20Design%20Guide

I would start here if you have not already and perhaps provide feedback on anything you cannot find from the existing pages.

Thanks,

Sabine
