As the new Prometheus version supports direct remove write to the az workspace endpoint, deprecate Sidercar solution for Managed Prometheus Agent

So now we just use the config to tell the prometheus docker container to perform the remote write?

Yea, exactly. As this feature has been merged recently by Prometheus: https://github.com/prometheus/prometheus/pull/11944/files
