Azure DevOps action #96

We use the Azure DevOps version of this task - is the underlying core code the same and are there plans to open source it?

I am thinking about contributing here but since we don't use the Github actions version of this, we wouldn't be able to test and these changes wouldn't benefit us.

Specific things we want to add:

I'd be interested too ! The logic is basically the same. I'd be great if MSFT decided to open source it too (+ we can propose some actually missing features)

Is there any update on this? This issue is preventing us from using the more secure Workload Identity Federation to deploy the Synapse workspace.

+1 on this ask. It is preventing us from migrating over to Federated Identity.

Any chance we'll get some fix or viable workaround anytime soon? Every once in a while there're new messages popping-up, but seems like Microsoft just ignores the problem.
