Data dependent triggers can be configured for triggering the Actions based pipeline. These triggers will be hooked to different data source and data pipelines solutions such as Azure Data Factory or Airflow which will trigger the GitHub Actions pipeline on any new data.

Should be already possible. I don't see a reason why we and how we should change the current status.

A sample could be developed to show customers how this can be done.
Is there a customer asking for this feature?
