Discussion issue for removal of Azure Functions version 3.0.15193

Hello @gzuber

Following the announcement of removal of Azure Functions Runtime 3.0.15193 (https://github.com/Azure/app-service-announcements/issues/324), is it possible to get an ETA on when the removal will take effect for this Function App? Thank you.

Hi @cyc4 - It's hard to give an exact date. There's a different release happening right now so this change won't start until that finishes rolling out. The best estimate I can give is that this change might start rolling out in 3-4 business days, but this is very dependent on how the other release roles out. Is there a concern with removing this version I can help with?

Hello @gzuber Thank you for your prompt reply. My customer have to push changes to their app to keep it functioning and their release was initially planned for Tuesday. They are worried about the removal of the version will impact their business. So if they have gotten the exact date that would be helpful for the release. Besides, will the runtime change only take effect if the function is restarted? Thank you.
