I don't know if this is the right place for this comment or not, there's a large series of links I followed to get here, but I upgraded to .Net Core Runtime 2.2.4 in a web app and attempted to deploy to a test slot in Azure and found out that it's only supporting up 2.2.3 right now. The service announcements issue is fine, but not specific down to the minor version that is supported which is what would have helped in troubleshooting.
With the release of 3.0 the .net team posted "Azure App Service deployment of .NET Core 3.0 is currently ongoing."
However I am missing an announcement from you guys on the usual channel. ( https://github.com/Azure/app-service-announcements )
Any ETA for 3.0 ?
How will Functions Runtime 2.x be affected by .NET Core 2.2 entering maintenance support, and end-of-support on December 23? This seems like a situation between a rock and a hard place - applications cannot be expected to run on .NET Core 2.1 (LTS), and may not be able to make the move to .NET Core 3.x, and certainly not the 3.x Functions Runtime.
What does the roadmap of .NET Core versions on Functions Runtime 2.x look like?
