Removing images that won't be converted to spack #299

When we merge the spack codebase into master, we will be archiving the older images and won't be maintaining them side-by-side with the spack code

Thank you @LiquidPT Can you verify by running the pipeline for suitable distros?

Checking in the removal of older images. Ubuntu 22.04 builds fine. Alma 8.7 still needs some work to be done seperately
