az automation account | Missing managed identity capability in reference group #8273

Describe the bug

This GitHub issue is being moved from MicrosoftDocs/azure-docs-cli issue 4759 as it pertains to missing capabilities in reference content.

Engineering request

Add sytem-assigned and user-assigned identity capabilities to az automation account.

Unclear how to enable system managed identity through azure cli for automation account

I try:

az automation account identity assign \
  --resource-group $resourceGroupNameToAutomate \
  --name $automationAccountName

but not luck. I want to turn on:
