In this PR, I incorporate many of the changes introduced in your refactoring and make some of my own.
Below are a summary of the main changes:
The ActionCollector has been renamed to "SharedMemory" as it does more than just collect actions - it serves to mediate the interaction between the invoker-thread and user-code thread. I figured SharedMemory was a more appropriate name, though perhaps its still too general.
The interleaving of threads (invoker and user-code threads) is now simplified. The two threads now take turns, and yield to each other by calling the Yield...() methods in SharedMemory.cs.
