@eduards-vavere - may i know why you want to access the underlying container app resource ?
Of course! To do configuration on it like any of my other container apps. Ingress for example.
Interesting!! @eduards-vavere can we connect over a meeting to discuss your requirements? Currently you wont be able to modify the underlying container apps resource, and ingress is enabled by default. We were investigating to provide control to the user on ingress enable/disable. Would like to discuss more on your requirements on this. Pl do let me know.
Adding this issue link as similar ask is being discussed - https://github.com/Azure/azure-functions-on-container-apps/issues/27
Your reply is a bit of a surprise for me! I expected the function app to be just a regular container app I can manage as any other container app (and it is possible, because the container app resources exists!) For example:
So you are saying I should not even be using the container app resource (with the same name as) function app?
Sure!! would like to discuss more on this , on the scenario and requirements .. Please drop a note to raorugan@microsoft.com
@raorugan sure, we can have a call, i sent you a message
In container app env apps list the function app is shown, but there is no button to open the container app for this function app. Workaround - have to search in all resources by name.
