I'm planning to switch from an hosted MariaDB installation to Azure-MariaDB serverless service.

The version I can choose when I create the service are really old:

The current LTS stable release is 10.6 (July 2021) while the old stable 10.5 was released on June 2020.

Don't you believe that an update of the available version should be needed?

Agree that running unsupported versions is problematic.

AWS have support for 12.4, 12.5 and 12.6.

Any updates on when these versions might be available for Azure?
