Hi @sameergMS @yairgil , Since when retention is not supported for diagnostic settings and are there any documents I can find the expected behavior? { "code": "BadRequest", "message": "Diagnostic settings does not support retention for new diagnostic settings." }

Hi Yabo,

This feature's deprecation was announced early last year. The first step in 2023 was to prevent any new diagnostic settings created to use the soon to be deprecated retention policy parameter. More details are in this article: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/azure-monitor/essentials/migrate-to-azure-storage-lifecycle-policy?tabs=portal
