Notes from API Review 5/23/24

• VideoAnalysis is a separate service from the rest of UnifiedVision. It will version independently and have it's own SDKs.
• Static path segments should be either kebab-case (preferred) or camelCase.
• URL Structure - there's a extra path segment, should try to remove this
• Use the api-version query parameter and remove version from the resource
• Recommend to avoid use of ISO durations -- it is not well-supported by our languages/SDKs
• Might want to be clear about how the URLs are used -- does it have to be a blob URL? Can it point elsewhere?
  • Might want to call it fileUrl or just url which is described by kind
  • But kind might not be enough to indicate the protocol to use
• The completion property in the request body will need to be revisited before GA -- it is problematic
  • And the naming of "resource"
• Should "preset" (or "domain") be within "input" ?

Notes from API Review meeting 6/6/24

• Lots of confusion about what parts of the request and response are defined properties vs property bag.
  • The OpenAPI file is not in sync with the TypeSpec.
  • This must be fixed before we can sign off
