New SDK Review meeting has been requested.

Service Name: Azure Programmable Connectivity Review Created By: Andrew Niven (he/him) Review Date: 01/09/2024 02:05 PM PT

Hero Scenarios Link: Not Provided Architecture Diagram Link: Not Provided Core Concepts Doc Link: Not Provided APIView Links: Java, Javascript, Python, .NET,

Description: Azure Programmable Connectivity is a new First Party service that provides a unified, standard interface across Telecom Operator Networks, enabling developers to create cloud and edge-native applications that interact with the intelligence of networks.

Networks expose APIs that follow the CAMARA standards. APC acts as a gateway to these APIs: it accepts a request from a developer, passes it on to the correct Network, receives a response, and returns it to the developer.

Is this a Python-only review, or are there other APIViews that will be shared before the meeting?

AndrewNivenMSFT commented 9 months ago

We're aiming for public preview in mid February, for which we're hoping to have the Python and .NET SDKs ready. So far the Python SDK is the only one we've worked on and have written samples for. We've also generated the .NET SDK - we're hitting some errors with this SDK which we're working through, and we'll hopefully have it in APIView in time for the meeting.

Looking beyond public preview, we will be aiming to go GA in the summer, for which we will of course need Java and Javascript SDKs. We aren't planning to work on these at the moment, but if you think there is anything we should consider about these languages it would be good to discuss that tomorrow.

I've tried to add a link to a .NET APIView to the SDK Release Planner app, but get the error: Error here 'Edit - Artifacts'

There is a .NET APIView here: https://apiview.dev/Assemblies/Review/588093bf5b224fdca99d5efe70edae71
