The source code and how to compile instructions are shared on this repo. Following the instructions, you can compile it for other platforms.

LOL! :D I know how to build it but your official documentation links to this tool for a short introduction for people who HAVEN'T USED THIS BEFORE.

The intention of this tool is to provide a connection string for SDK client that doesn’t have the provisioning service support yet. Hence, major desktop platforms were considered good enough for transition. In other words, this tool wasn’t intended for devices. You may still follow the docs and use it there if that’s what you want.
