Question: Is there support for layered deployments? #401

We are evaluating if we could use the simulator to run locally layered deployments. Is there support for them?

Browsing through the wiki and the code I don't think this feature exists. I am aware that this project is getting in maintenance mode so this would be a feature request that probably won't make it in the backlog, correct?

/cc @konichi3 because of activity on Teams around this topic and his PRs to update the various READMEs with the current state of the art.

Closing this - Iotedgehubdev does not support layered deployments and since it's in maintenance mode the feature won't be added.
