Sync etcd metrics to self-managed Prometheus

Is there any way to sync etcd metrics to external self-managed Prometheus? customer hope the united data management

Hi @zhangchl007 - We recently announced collecting control plane metrics (including etcd) into azure managed prometheus -- https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/aks/monitor-control-plane-metrics.

Unfortunately, i don't think there is way to get those metrics into OSS self-managed prometheus. We currently dont have data export tool from azure managed prometheus, so unless you query thru api and ingest into self managed prometheus - i dont think there is a way to do this.
