Loading Save game doesnt load CQUI - Standard Rules #348

been playing a great game , saved it , came back to continue and CQUI is no longer active. Seems to be when choosing a map from YNAMP. Playing on a small map it works from a saved game, but if I start on Enormous map and save on turn one. Reloading save file CQUI is no longer active.

Using the latest patch from here.

just going to do some tests by removing all other mods first see if I can get a similar result. will load logs and save game then

Seems to be a later game problem. Cant emulate the problem in early turns. Will start a new game and play for longer and them save and see if same problem arises

Hi, Resourcefull 2 poses problem with CQUI and the same result with CQUI Beta posted recently.

I explain with this mod activated, impossible to reload a save without CQUI is automatically disabled. I tried with Resourcefull 1 and everything works well cons with the 2 impossible.

I have tried by disabling all my mods and leaving only CQUI active, then activate mod by mod and it is clear that this resourcefull 2 prevents every load CQUI backup to be active.

Otherwise it works well and is well reloaded with each load game.I do not know if it can help some.

@rasputinoz I can see that the mod is enabled overall, but that it's not actually enabled in the savegame you uploaded (I imagine you did have it on, but it's not storing it). Enabled mods appear to be:

Can you try this again with everything disabled except for YnAMP and CQUI? It's very possible any of these mods are causing an issue, and it's hard to pinpoint if there's so many of them.

By the way, are you still subscribed to the steam workshop version? If so, try unsubscribing from that and see if that helps. It can cause issues if you have both the github and the steam version installed because it doesn't know which files to load.

@fruttyx The CQUI Beta is this mod, but it's not uploaded by us so it's hard for us to really help you with it (I'm not sure what version he uploaded, or if he made any modifications). Are you subscribed to both CQUI version on steam? If so, try unsubscribing from the one you don't want to use.

I do not subscribe to the Steam version, I use the version from here with the fix tree.

I tested with this activated version and unsubscribe from the beta version, same problem

Tried by removing the files version from here and leave only the beta subscriber version, same problem.

Either version, CQUI is not active when reloading when Resourcefull mod 2 is enabled.

I use the mods:

R.E.D. modpack R.E.D. Modpack Rise and Fall R.E.D. for MOAR Australia R.E.D. for MOAR Aztec Starting Builder Starting Scout Yet (not) Another Maps Pack

And with CQUI no problems when they are all activated.

If you want the list of exact mods used without problems, I give it to you.

I uploaded CQUI Beta, it is completely identical to the patch-branch.

You can just zip them all and upload them here.

Seems to be loadable from a Multiplayer game , but not from Single Player ones

Ok seems if you play a Rise Fall Expansion it Saves and then reloads. It seemingly is only affecting Standard Rules.

So if I am reading this correctly, taking the latest release or using what is on Steam I can only play with CQUI if I upgrade to R&F? (I am still running Vanilla with the 257 patch and matching CQUI release.)

With Ressourcefull 2 ​​activated, when loading a save CQUI was automatically disabled while with Ressourcefull 1 everything worked perfectly.

So with the new update of CQUI early August, I went back to the problem and I managed to solve this problem with Ressourcefull 2.

I copied the files from resourcefull 2, unsubscribe from this mod in the workshop, I simply changed the line 1</ AffectsSavedGames> in the Resourceful.modinfo.

I then paste the files into Documents / Civ6 / Mods and activate the mod in the game.

I can now save and reload in peace with CQUI enabled too and enjoy full mod.

It will be necessary that I try to modify directly the file being subscribed by the workshop, I will test tonight but the problem with Ressourcefull 2 ​​+ CQUI is set for me.

Edit : I just tried editing the 1</ AffectsSavedGames> in the Resourceful.modinfo of the subscriber directly from the workshop and it works too.

Maybe we should just revert 9d33d0d1c60c926b40e03137dd4ae72d421ae87a after all, it introduced too much unwanted bugs

Might be related to an issue I have had today after enabling new modded civilisation from the workshop.

CQUI works fine when starting a game, but after saving and reloading it's gone.

After disabling the new civ, and starting a new game it works again. Looks like the problem is with the modded CIV from the workshop, one of these 2 :

JFD & Civitas mods seems to be working fine with CQUI.
