@cinnamoner Yeah, it's transparent:
@cinnamoner have patience please! I need resting more since I have some hand problems lately...
vista is ok, I mean, I see it almost once a week, and I know how it looks in general
@feren nice job!
@Elbullazul Did you get my suggestion of rebasing Whilster off of Classic? (It's got the geometries of Classic)
RIP Samsung Note 7
@cinnamoner It's the latest one in feren OS, no modifications...
Also, I think he was talking about Cinn7 saying 'Good Job!'
@cinnamoner I guess StealthVM is just a VM running Windows completely seperate from RoboL... Not sure...
@cinnamoner I'd need the Frost Panel from Win2-7 first before I make a frost version, also, frost would reduce transparency slightly colour-wise...
Err, I'm pretty sure Forks are for modifying though... :D (No offense)
See ya
@cinnamoner Vista dies next year, whilst 7 is on January 14, 2020
@cinnamoner You may love this one for the start button: https://github.com/sdanielch/ORBWin-Cinnamon-Theme
@Elbullazul I'll be messing about integrating the start button of ORWin Cinnamon into your Vista theme and will then pull request you when all goes to plan...
@Elbullazul Preview:
@Elbullazul It's waiting there if you want it: https://github.com/Elbullazul/Redmond-Themes/pull/11
implemented
@Elbullazul The only issue now is that the menu overlaps the button, that's the only issue I've seen...
@Elbullazul One solution is to use an invisible box pointer maybe?
the solution would be to add a distance between the panel & menu, thus having the same problem as the previous version
@Elbullazul Well, never mind, I can live with that bug, also, I added in some animations to Window List from ORBWin too... Also, second screenie:
@cinnamoner He used boxpointers...
Hey, never mind, maybe Feature Request panel applets being top heavy from their Menus?
@cinnamoner That would be inconsistent with Vista's panel size... (Maybe an invisible Box pointer if possible?)
Also, taking our minds off of it, here's some more issues that've sprung up:
will do the menu alpha correction
@cinnamoner I seem to like it with the new menu button more than before, also, if you're looking for a fully thick panel, why not make use of forking this repository with a thicker panel? No offense...
@cinnamoner I was thinking of that... Also, the light effect, just use the focused orb in it...
@cinnamoner good suggestion
BTW can you direct me to your vista icon pack please?
@cinnamoner Err, can't find the repository
BREAKING NEWS: The maker of Trenta OS may join in on the Longhorn Collaboration development! :)
@feren great, that makes job for you and me :D
also, couldn't get plex to boot, sorry :/ maybe it's my ol' laptop gettin' old
could you get them? you seem better than me to get stuff from DLLs and stuff
@cinnamoner Oh yeah, that's the one I have in feren OS... :)
@cinnamoner Sorry, was just catorygising it
@cinnamoner Yeah, was just curious...
@cinnamoner Not exactly sure, feren OS and Neon would be my choices...
@cinnamoner Yeah... if it doesn't break
@cinnamoner cs-*
@cinnamoner Have a look at Numix Circle
See ya!
I'm back
@Elbullazul So you're working on Basic are you? Suggestions: Windows 7 Basic Cinnamon Windows Vista Basic Cinnamon (really dark gradient with no alpha in the menu and a solid black square behind the panel) 3D Blocks for Power buttons on StarkMenu for Classic/Windows 9X
@cinnamoner KDE is 20!!
@Elbullazul This is what Kevin Doyle said: Just be careful, you're releasing someone else's materials which are copyright under a fair use license. you can't legally do that
@cinnamoner BTW, if you make the panel bigger:
@cinnamoner Kevin Doyle is the Trenta OS founder
@feren he's saying it from the themes or what?
@Elbullazul He's saying it about Longhorn Collaboration and other Windows themes
@cinnamoner I have actually (believe it or not) actually tried Vista in a VM twice, first time was the latest ISO of Vista in a VM in an effort to then upgrade it to 7 and get Windows working on a Portable HDD (my activation key was upgrade-only), the second time was when I used a VM to test one of the buggiest Vista builds that had Old Windows Basic in it... Unfortunately, both times, it was on Basic (no VBox drivers until 7's installation), and, of course, I was going to be stuck on Old Windows Basic anyway even with Aero (Pre-SP1, no activation meant no Aero) (That build's timebomb was just Windows Activation and required using the 'Restricted Mode' trick to get to the desktop...
