I am using Parrot Os with Mate desktop, is it possible to get widgets on it, I am using a theme like this

any widget, I don't know how to add at all

here's a tutorial. You'll have to look at the panel and panel config sections

I don't know if Parrot includes the applets package. If not, you should try searching for the mate-applets package
