hi, i am sorry but i am unable to understand how can i decrypt my backup with key file? as my device is not rooted, cant find the key.

i had the same problem. solved by this way;

first installed android studio after created an virtual android device after i rooted the virtual android device with this guide https://medium.com/@lightbulbr/how-to-root-an-android-emulator-with-tiramisu-android-13-f070a756c499 after that i login in virtual device. i waited to restore from google drive backup. after that i could retrieve my keys and db files.

Thanks alot for the reply but in the end i am going for different direction. I want to make an application which takes WhatsApp chats and feed to llm and then you can talk to your data, and i want to implement this function so user don't have to do all this, Export chat function is also waste of time. No whatsapp api to fetch messages Now thinking about a crawler
