If you're using Git, you can submit changes to Google Code.
See "Preferred (Git) Patch Submission Method -- Google Code" on
http://code.google.com/p/iui/wiki/Contributing
It's essentially the same as with GitHub, but instead of using your browser to
create a Pull Request, you add a comment to an Issue in the issue DB (creating
one if necessary) and email the iui-developers Google Group.
There are advantages to GitHub, but we've been on Google Code since the
beginning, so for now we are planning on staying put.
Why don't you try submitting a patch using Google Code?

If someone wants to try sending a PULL request -- if your code is good -- we'll
try merging it and syncing back to Google Code...
