Speakers won't wake-up after selecting a music source in HA #21

The integration in HA works fine, however when I try to select a music source, eg. a TuneIn radio station, the speakers won't wake-up. After I have manually powered the speakers, I can select a music source.

Thanks for the feedback!

In existing zones or speaker groups, a speaker is only woken up in the eco state. If a speaker is in the off state, it is assumed that this is intentional.

When you (re)create a speaker group, all affected speakers will also be turned on in off state. This is also the case when calling the teufel_raumfeld.set_power_state service to set a speaker to on. See https://github.com/B5r1oJ0A9G/teufel_raumfeld/wiki#services.

Can you confirm or test that the speaker(s) do not wake up in "eco" mode?

No you're right, in the eco mode the speaker wakes up, I'm not sure if I'm willing to keep the speakers in the eco state all the time. Thanks for the hard work and quick reply.

Thanks for the review! By the way, this is the same behavior as the official Android app. Anyway, let's leave this open as a feature request.

Hmmm interesting, is this different then the iOS app? I mean I can select a song in, for instance in TuneIn, and it wakes up the speaker.
Is the eco-mode indicated by the white light, or is this another state?

The white light is switched off in both the "Off" and "Eco" states. When a speaker is in "Eco" state, this should be indicated in the "Control Room" of the Mobile App. See: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FlkKzcNDg3A
