We should start with an implementation of the Jaumann stress rate. This is basically impossible to do efficiently in Python. So, this would be a part of the Repository that would need to be written in Rust or C++. I have implementations for boththat we could copy in the repo.
[ ] Include a function jaumann_rotate(del_grad_u, mandel_quantity, del_t = 1.) to rotate stresses (or strains, or anything else)
[ ] Write a simple solver for a mechanics problem with updated lagrangian formulation for isoparametric elements (otherwise the mesh update does not work)
