feature request: accessing folders inside folders/sort files by options #480

basically, to make it possible to put a folder inside another folder, for
example PICTURES/folder/folder1 and have the picture/music/etc browser read
them correctly.

right now any folder inside a folder in PICTURES or PSP/PHOTO or PSP/MUSIC is
ignored and treated as if it didn't exist, so if you try to use the psp as
image browser or music player, you can't organize anything at all.

also another thing, some option to sort images by filename and/or size rather
than some arbitrary date of upload or whatever it's using right now would be
good.

is something like that possible?

for the record if it's important, i'm using an e1000 model and firmware v6.60

Hi,
"right now any folder inside a folder in PICTURES or PSP/PHOTO or PSP/MUSIC is
ignored and treated as if it didn't exist, so if you try to use the psp as
image browser or music player, you can't organize anything at all"

Well, this would require to reverse the whole thing and add this feature. Means
this takes a long time to do.

"also another thing, some option to sort images by filename and/or size rather
than some arbitrary date of upload or whatever it's using right now would be
good"

The same, we need to reverse the module to add these possibilities but that's
not all, we would have to reverse more to change the menu and add the option
sort by filename/size.

yeah, didn't think it'd be that easy. if it can't be done or would take way too
much time, then oh well, i guess i'll live with that.

but if sometime down the line it'd be possible, it'd be great.

Since there are some plugins that enable you to group and sort your games, isos
and homebrews then I gues simmilar plugins might exist (or be created) to group
and sort other content. It doesent have to be a CFW feature.
