Freelancer: HD Edition is a mod that aims to improve every aspect of the game Freelancer (2003) while keeping the look and feel as close to vanilla as possible.
In vanilla Freelancer there are many codename weapons with unique names. However, the colors mentioned in these names often do not accurately portray the color of the actual weapon effect. For example, the codename weapon "BLUE BLAZE" shoots green projectiles, while the "GOLDEN BLADE" shoots blue projectiles.
All codename weapon effect .ale files should be modified so the colors correspond to the names. Of course this only goes for the weapons for which the color inconsistencies occur.
It might also be possible to swap some of the codename weapon effects.
