Freelancer: HD Edition is a mod that aims to improve every aspect of the game Freelancer (2003) while keeping the look and feel as close to vanilla as possible.
A lot of players are asking if Freelancer: HD Edition would work with other mods. The answer to that is unfortunately no since many .ini files have been edited, making them incompatible with other mods.
The idea is to create a dynamic tool where players can choose what features they want, e.g. maximized draw distances, hd stations, hd starspheres. The tool will then add those to their existing modded Freelancer installation while not overwriting any features the installed mod offers.
This'll require a custom installer to be made which should be in a separate GitHub repository.
