Alec Sandy writes by email:

[adaptive scanning] is one of the key selling points of the Bluesky framework ...

I would strongly encourage you to [include] @canismarko and @danielballan. This is too important a capability not to be able to take advantage of. Phil Maffettone (@maffettone) is an active staff member in the beamline controls area of NSLS-II and continues to use and develop this tool.

(Interestingly, Phil was part of a recent NSLS-II experiment described to us where they had duplicate materials at two beamlines---EXAFS and PDF/PD---and they had AI/ML agents making recommendations for what one beamline or the other should measure based on the results obtained at the other beamline.)

Realizing the docs for bluesky adaptive are out of date on blueskyproject.io, and will get that sorted (especially the section on "distributed agents" if you're keen to self compile from source).

We are actively churning on more "plug and play" demonstrations. Do feel free to hassle me with questions.
