APS uses RHEL at beam lines. Open-source RHEL might be better choice than Ubuntu-derivatives (lubuntu, mint, ubuntu).

RHEL Downloads are not fully open, need to read more to learn how to download. Skip it for now.

Lubuntu latest is still 19.04, too old.

Linux Lite is interesting, nice UI. Only saves ca. 2 GB AND does not check for ~/.bash_aliases by default. Stick with Mint for now. Look at #9 for additional space savings.
