setup a developer's environment (Mac, Windows) at an APS beam line
setup an off-line environment
- possibly with IOC(s) as docker containers

Pivot from the python_installation directory to a new install directory, leave the old one in place for another cycle so existing URLs in presentations do not fail right away. Leave markers in the python_installation directory pointing to the new content.
