Describe the issue In the interest of freeing up unused resources, lower quotas in the old Rocketchat namespaces in Silver, which are now being used by the AI chatbots, and lower the quotas for the dev and test namespaces in Gold/GoldDR. Work with the DevEx team to implement the changes to the Gold namespaces. Check with the platform admins about lowering the quotas in Silver.

What is the Value/Impact? We are motivated to reduce resource usage on the platform and Rocketchat is a somewhat resource-intensive app.

What is the plan? How will this get completed?

• Lower quotas for the Silver namespaces: 6e2f55-*
• Update the gitops manifests for dev and test and submit a quota reduction request for those namespaces
• Consider also lowering the quota for prod

6e2f55, which is the old Rocketchat project set in Silver, is now used for the AI chatbots. Quotas have been lowered in the Registry to match current usage. 87d478-dev quotas have been lowered. 87d478-test quotas have been lowered. 87d478-tools quotas have been lowered. Total quota reduction is:

• CPU: 15.5/30.5
• Mem: 46Gi/92/Gi
• Storage: 143Gi 87d478-prod quota has not been changed. Current usage is a little higher than the next lower quota bracket, so until a more flexible quota selection system is in place, we'll leave it as it is.
