Gallery figures display code, not pretty pictures #15

Describe the bug Gallery figures often don't render their images but instead show their HTML equivalent in monospace font (i.e. <figure class="gallery=figure">...).

To Reproduce Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. Go to the example page
  2. See error

Expected behavior The figures should render, not HTML.
