Hi @baxter888,
First of all you need to be sure that your computer recognises the printer. If you are using windows you can look at device manager and see if the computer has given a COM Port. If everything is ok you can open cura and install manually the firmware. Remember that you need to make sure the firmware corresponds with the LCD display files. Here you can find more info:

Hi,
while firmware update cura say the usb connection timeout. After that nothing happen. now the display shows the two lines with booting and after that it is white, no logo appears. i tried to reupdate, but cura can not find the printer anymore. What can i do? Is there a recovery firmware or a hardreset possibility? or can i flash direct to the mainboard with a arduino or somthing like this?
