We talked about this as a possibility for large datasets. It could be enabled by default if over a certain size. And option to load all on the page after.

I still think this is a good idea for large datasets. Right now we just get the beginning of the file and a warning that it is just 10,000 lines.

But I use the summary view in laminar all the time which shows the first few lines, randomly selected lines thorughout then the last few lines. Very useful!
