[Feature Request] - Support for more text formatting

Hi all,

Love the fact that Mangane is looking to integrate more Akkoma features. Was wondering if there's a way to support additional text formatting methods that Akkoma support like BBCODE, HTML & MissKey Markdown?

Personally as someone who grew up on Internet forums, I'm well versed in BBCODE and would love to see it included. Markdown is powerful but BBCODE is much easier to remember (at least imo).

It's indeed a good idea, and I think it wouldn't be too hard as the system seems to be really close to what's already done with markdown

Really looking forward to it being included in Mangane, would be super helpful for sure!

Are you thinking of replacing the Markdown icon on the compose window and make it into some sort of text format picker, similar to the emoticon picker or would it be some type of stylized dropbox menu?

I think a small dropdown menu could work, I think that's the similar approach that the Husky Android app uses to allow users to select which text formatting they prefer.

i'd like an option in the settings panel to chose preferred formatting as default, but yes a dropdown to change it on special occasions could be fine.

It's how it's currently done on #GlitchSoc btw
