bug with reposts #151

Sometimes when discussing with someone, Mangane will mark some messages as "reposted", even though no repost was made. I think this is a bug.

Hi ! Thanks for the issue. I've never seen this behaviour, do you know if something changes after some times ? Did you mute / block some people ?

nothing has changed, "reposts" on almost all posts, although there was no repost, it's strange and I don't know how to fix it, or what could provoke such behavior.

And for some reason there is no repost on your post, there is only from my instance, it's strange.

I checked on one post both on my own and on someone else's. The problem is the same.

I've also seen a similar bug as well, I thought it was Akkoma itself but since @uandreew is showing that it doesn't happen in Pleroma-FE then it sounds like a Mangane bug. If I run into this bug again, I'll submit a reply as well.

It appears that it doesn't happen to every post but it shows up from time to time...

I hope you will find the reason why it behaves this way, or maybe there are some options? Because when you see a "repost" on almost every single one, it's a little frustrating))

I was told by an Akkoma instance administrator that he had the same problem, only on Pleroma-FE, so I think it's a problem with Akkoma.
