Thumbnails shown in Profile's media gallery are full size #335

Currently, the media shown in the profile's gallery (top right, see screenshot below) are loaded in their full size version, which makes the loading process unnecessarily slow.

Is there a way to convert these images to small thumbnails for this purpose?
