Lite Radio 2 SE new cannot bind to Frsky D16 #18

I have a Lite Radio 2 SE Frsky (with configurator support). The configurator (1.1.1-RC1) works great, but even after flashing the latest radio firmware (2.0.1) I cannot bind to a Frsky D16 receiver (R-XSR). Both FCC and EU-LBT are not working...

The same receiver binds fine with my Lite Radio 2 and also with an older Lite Radio 2 SE (no configurator support) after firmware update to this bin: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1TnaKqx17QRmBzgt9kn9J_ZsabdmhN12O/view?usp=sharing

I hope this can be fixed soon, as the radio is not usable at this point!

EDIT: In the receiver, I am using ACCST v1.x firmware (I have tried R-XSR_LBT_190311, RXSR_LBT_ACCST_191112). I am certain the receiver is not using ACCST v2.

The transmitter is set up to FrSky D16 LBT (ACCST 1.x) protocol (2 red flashes on startup).

In the transmitter (LiteRadio_2_SE_V2_CC2500), I have tried all the firmwares available in the BetaFPV Configurator (1.0.0, 1.0.1, 1.0.2, 2.0.0, 2.0.1), none of them bind.

I have also tried switching to FCC on both the transmitter and the receiver with no luck either. This is reproducible on several Lite Radio 2 SE V2 units that I own.

I have the exact same problem. Did you find any solution?

matejkarasek commented 2 years ago

No, not yet :(

martingouy commented 2 years ago

@HWT662988 Would you know what could be the cause?

matejkarasek commented 2 years ago

Any chance this issue will get any attention soon?

I get the same problem when binding to an FrSky XM+. Here, once in 5 attempts the binding succeeds, but takes much longer than with any other radio. All my OpenTX/EdgeTX transmitters bind immediately to both of these receivers...

There must be some firmware issue in the code responsible for binding...

Do you finded fix for this?

For xm+ the fix is flash on xm+ a firmware more old.

But for R-XSR i tried all firmwares without luck.(about 7-10 versions)

matejkarasek commented 2 years ago

No, no fix... Indeed the XM+ sometimes works, the R-XSR not...

insestito36 commented 2 years ago

Do you tried this????

I found it right now https://support.betafpv.com/hc/en-us/articles/900005322963-How-to-Flash-Firmware-of-LiteRadio-2-SE

matejkarasek commented 2 years ago

This is for an older version of the Lite Radio 2...

Hey there. Having the exact same issue with a Literadio 2 SE (old version) and the R-XSR. Radio binds fine to my very old XM+ but no luck on the R-XSR with both available firmwares (1903 and 1911). I've seen an even older version of the firmware for the receiver (like 18xxxx) but can't find it anywhere. Somebody maybe have a link?

https://youtu.be/5fa6TkXN0IM this is for elrs, but the idea is the same. It will allow you to change firmwares. Still haven't gotten it to bind though.

If I go to BF 4.2.11 I can bind but I loose the gyro. If I go to BF 4.3 I can't bind, but I have the gyro. Can I copy and paste some config stuff?
