Fc firmware flashing issue and setup page unavaible ( cetus pro )

Hi,

I would like to change my PID settings on my cetus pro. So I followed the instructions with the configurator to flash my fc (version 1.2.2). But after the flash process end my drone didn't restart automatically. After that i unpluged/repluged the drone. It blinked red for the first second and immediately turned blue.

When I tried to connect for the setup page I have "No configuration recieved, communication failed" alert and i can't access to setup page.

I tried to update drivers for the com port. My board version is 1.3. Is there firmware for 1.3 ?

After some research, I found that if Ioad the Lite v3. I'm able to acces to the setup page. Obviously nothing work due to the wrong firmware. I noticed that when I load the lite V3 the COM port use the ST driver. With the good firmware It use the standard usb device. It also didn't work if i forced the driver to be the ST one.

Thanks @pjcjonas to keep this post alive ! Maybe we'll have an answer one day... I tried the last firmware that you shared. Unfortunately It did not work for me.. I don't have the automatic reboot after flashing the firmware even while waiting for 20 minutes... And it broke the vtx signal...

Thats not right... would you mind telling me what your FC number is. On the board where it says Cetus PRO v1.3 there is a date stamp. if its newer than the date of the firmware that might be one reason its not working or Your vtx not working could be because of overheating. I had that issue as well because of a battery, wasnt just my vtx, but my esc on the 2 back motors...

I'll check my date stamp... However the vtx works fine with à downgrade to 1.2.2 firmware, but the overall is a bit buggy with this version...

I bought mine in the middle of july if it can help. My vtx issue was a complete Black screen so not an overheating issue !

You see this is what I think is the problem, your version of the Cetus is newer than the firmware I gave you and that is available on the configurator. @nieyong @wenzhicode @HWT662988 ? Whats the update on keeping this repo up to date with the latest firmware?

hi @pjcjonas, where did you find the files to upgrade to version 1.2.3? .. and how do I know when there is an updated fw version if they don't update the sw? I managed to update my cetus pro to version 1.2.3, as well as the fw OSD. But when I try to update the sensors fw, cetus flashes red.. I purchased mine in February 2022.

Thanks to @pjcjonas, I flashed my cetus pro 1.3 (w/o date stamp on fc) with fc and osd dll. In my case, osd was fixed (in older version it has some invisible menus), and also (that I really wanted) disabled auto land when low battery in Sport and Acro modes!

But my drone was rebooted only when I flash osd, that's strange...

When trying to flash sensors dll, drone flashing red, but this case was documented on instruction that pjcjonas send.

Upd: and unfortunately, drone still cannot connect to configurator.

This is infuriarating... I used these files 2 months ago to fix a FW issue, just tried them and now they dont work, Ill try the original files and get back to you, could be a corrupted sensor file... I DO APOLOGIZE FOR THIS, I just re did the FW and OSD, it seems to be working 100% again. I have been giving them a lot of stick due to the lack of constant upgrades and improvements to the FC firmware as well as the lack of configurator support, they have assured me that they are working on fixing this. I have been in contact with a lady that heads up their social marking team and she sourced the 1.2.3 FW for me from their dev teams. I have since then been trying to get them to upload and better maintain this REPO of theirs as well as improve on how the FW updating is executed. The process shared comes from 3 months of communications with them, their tech support as well as a handful of youtube videos. The process is a culmination of all that effort, but as you know the latest FC's fail when trying to update the sensors. I am still very much trying to push them to give some update, but with the release of the Cetus X which is very VERY badly released with 0 to no online support (docs, how to's, repos, firmware) I am getting them to understand that the cetus pro has a massive user base and should be regularly maintained. What worries me is that the repos have very VERY little contributors, 3 or 4... but why they opted for a custom configurator and FW is beyond me. Betaflight is supported by almost all their other FC's except the pro, standard and X of the Cetus range..

@wenzhicode Board Version: V2.0 IV Problem: The drone wasnt calibrated (flew to the right side by doing nothing with the control) so I try to find a solution for it and came to this tool but it tells me to flash my firmware first, so i have done it. After the flash, the light of the drone keeps being white, no flashing or something. I also cant use this drone now because if i turn it on, it just make the first 3 beeps but the following longer beeps and the lighted LEDs are missing.. And it also cannot connected with the goggles and controller as well.

i have the same problem but with the normal cetus fpv i got it 1 day and i was experiencing issue's like bad vtx and all so i thought it was a firmware issue and when i installed and flashed it it didnt restart or anything just plain white light no flashing and once i unplug it it doesnt work anymore it doesnt connect only when in dfu mode

I'm having trouble updating my BetaFPV Literadio 3. During the process, there was a power outage, and since then, it's been corrupted. The controller doesn't respond, and it doesn't power on or show any lights when plugged into USB. When connected to the computer, it's not recognized as a device, but Windows detects that something is connected to the USB port. I think I need to reset it to factory settings now. Where should I start?
