VCC crashes with "Windows" key on fullscreen #12

On the latest build (01/09/2016), when VCC is in full screen mode, if you hit the "Windows" key (start menu), VCC will crash. It should go back to default size OR just minimize. It tries to stay on screen with the windows startbar and start menu....

Actually, there's always been little problems with fullscreen mode on any machine that went beyond directx 9 & WinXP (Vista, 7, 8, 10). The qicker we can phase out directx, the better.

I have now noticed a lot of strange things going on whether in full screen or windowed. Any time Windows changes graphics mode settings, VCC either crashes or goes "black screen" with no response. I'm pretty sure there's a way to preserve VCC's graphics mode while the focus is on another window. This doesn't seem to happen when opening "normal" windows, like "notepad", "wordpad", or an internet browser (unless it plays video, then crash). It seems to involve anything using directx. B.P.

Bill - same thing happens in a linux-wine enviroment. Crashes on sometimes on video mode transition.
