Stuck when signing in using username password #593

When I am loggin in, then it is stuck on "signing in" until I reload the page.

We are looking into outfacing the email password for passkeys and at the very least some sort of email verification, so this has low priority, and might be closed by the adoption of the before mentioned methods.
