Fixed bug in the template endpoint #205

now it can also process lists of lists and tuples
this addresses issue #201

Agreed. I was not sure about what the best style is for this (having a separate directory containing the files or having them in the code. In order to avoid confusion about paths, I put it in directly for now.

I will leave it that way for now to get done with this.
